We had chores to do in our French House so we fitted our wild time around the chores. Today was Firewood log cutting and splitting. In among the logs where some great bugs lurking.

One of the things we love about the house in France is the sounds of all the birds and crickets. After a long busy day we enjoyed the cooler evening to sit out and just listen to all the sounds around us. From the water moving from a nearby large fishing pond onside, the sounds of wind through the trees, birds and crickets in the now nicely cut and hayed field.
Even in the garden there are no sounds of man it feels totally wild.
