Well today the children went to my sisters while I took Charm to the vets and then we came home and had to tell them that Charmy was very old and they need to be careful around her as her bones are getting sore and she may not be with us for too much longer the truth being she has cancer but with them knowing Grandad ben had cancer I didn’t want them thinking because Cancer is killing charm it will kill Grandad so decided to just tell them that it was old age and to my surprise they took it very well Jessica asked if Charmy was going to leave because Grumpa was missing her and wants her in the sky next to him and Thomas was trying to negotiate the size of the new dog (apparently it needs to be small because he wants to be able to put it in a bag and take it shopping!).

so we spent the rest of the day pampering Charm and took her for a long walk.
